In March of 2023, she became a member at Equinox Bethesda, where he was a coach. They would lock eyes often, in passing, but would rarely share more than a friendly smile. It wasn't until after she discontinued her membership that the two would become friends via social media. From there, the casual double tap on a photo or friendly message on a post would occur to gently break the ice and show interest, but still there was hesitation to take the first step and ask for more. Finally, exactly one year after first laying eyes on her, he mustered up the courage to ask her out. March 22, 2024 they shared time, broke bread, smiled from ear to ear and would spend the rest of the evening puzzeled why they let so much time pass before getting to know each other. They knew immediately that they had found their person. In another years' time, on March 22, 2025, he asked her to be his forever.
